College applications are so strange. Now that they are so common, people have literally made systems where you can fill out information about yourself and have it sent to many colleges, where they have a program to sort out all of that information. It's like a company or industry instead of a learning institution. I think it used to be that you would write directly to the college (via snail mail) and ask them whether they would admit you based on your information that YOU included in YOUR letter. Weird right? I guess America seeks to make everything something that can make money. | |||

I've just been thinking about how cool it would be if I could get more people to use this site and make it a sort of community place. I bet many people would find the learning curve of adding stuff rather difficult, but I think that would refine the number of people to those I would find more interesting and less destructive. | |||

Yesterday I got a laptop from Japan. I’ve been trying the past two days to switch its language to English. Why can’t companies like Microsoft and another tech Giants just make it easier for us, the users, to do stuff? I've just been thinking about how cool it would be if I could get more people to use this site and make it a sort of community place.
